Dr. Sheila Shifrin is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in Oculoplastic/Orbital Surgery and Neuro-Ophthalmology. She completed her fellowship training at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, MI.
Dr. Sheila Shifrin founder and director of Chicago Eyelid, was the chief resident at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where she completed her medical and Ophthalmology training. Dr. Sheila Shifrin received her M.S. in Physiology from Georgetown University, and her B.S. in Anthropology and Human Biology from Emory University.
Dr. Sheila Shifrin is a trained eye plastic surgeon (Oculoplastic surgeon) specialized in lower and upper eyelid plastic surgery (blepharoplasty), eyebrow and mid-face rejuvenation procedures including “eye lifts”, “brow lifts”, and fat injection among other cosmetic surgical procedures.
Dr. Sheila Shifrin has a keen interest in aesthetic procedures. She also focuses on injectables and fillers. Dr. Sheila Shifrin uses the most recent innovations in non-surgical and surgical techniques to provide “beautiful and balanced natural results“.
Dr. Sheila Shifrin specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts and orbits including eyelid disorders related to the aging process, injuries or disfiguring scars due to accidents and surgery, and congenital anomalies of the eyelids. She also focuses on dry eye disease and patients with tearing disorders.
