What is Restylane® Used for?
Restylane® is a non-animal sourced hyaluronic acid. It’s a clear gel, dermal filler, that can be injected into your lips, perioral wrinkles (around your lips), marionette lines (from the corners of your mouth down to your jawline), around the corners of your mouth, cheeks, chin, orbital trough (around and under your eyes), and nasolabial folds (smile lines).
How long does Restylane® last?
Restylane® has long lasting effects and its results with full treatment should last 6 to 12 months in nasolabial folds, up to 12 months in the facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial and marionette lines). After this time period the injected Hyaluronic Acid will have been fully absorbed by your body, requiring you to go for another treatment.
